2023 BOD Nominations and Update

Hello Neighbors / Members of Summit North

BOD Nominations

In preparation for our next annual meeting. We are soliciting nominees for various positions for Summit North Estates Board of Directors. The two positions available are President and Treasurer. We ask that nominees can contribute approximately 3 to 5 hours per month. As many of you know, we took over management of our neighborhood in 2019. We had many hurdles to jump building a foundation for our HOA. Many changes have occurred for the better and am hoping for more in the coming years. Being the foundation has been built, these positions do not require as much time and effort as the original BOD had to contribute. Treasurer would need knowledge of Desktop QuickBooks and general accounting. Duties are dealing with annual billing, accounts management, fiduciary commitments, paying monthly accounts and general voting on BOD topics. Presidential duties include executing any contracts, deeds or mortgages, preside at all member or BOD meetings, shall supervise all business affairs of the association, provide a fiduciary commitment to members of the association. Any nominees must be current on all dues and not have any outstanding violations against them. Please have any nomination submissions in by May 6, 2023. Please include your Lot number and nominees name, Send submissions to [email protected] and [email protected]

Annual Meeting

Our annual meeting is typically set for the first Saturday in May. The annual meeting has been moved to Saturday May 13th at 9:00 am at 126 Primrose Path, Canyon Lake TX, (the park). Voting of new Summit North Estates BOD members will be held preceding annual discussions.

Projects – General Update

Landscaping at the front entrance is supposed to begin 4/10/23 and last through 4/15/23. There will be approximately 6 men working. They will be utilizing some heavy equipment and working on entrance and exit roadways. There will be days that lanes will be out of service and a shared two-way lane will be in use, therefore please use courteousness and caution while entering or exiting.

Asphalt of Entrance will include the widening of the entry and exit. The exit will have two lanes to exit North and South onto N. Cranes Mill. The entrance should have enough room for cars to safely park if picking up or dropping off their children at the bus stop. Asphalt will proceed the week after landscaping

Garage Sale: Neighborhood annual garage sale will be held Saturday 4/15/2023 beginning at 8;00 am.
